K-1 Returns to Europe at OKTAGON Rome: WORLD MAX Europe Tournament [SOLD OUT!!]

K-1 makes its official return to Europe at OKTAGON ROME, the international combat sports event taking place on Saturday, November 29 at the PalaPellicone in Ostia. The event has officially sold out and will be broadcast live worldwide on DAZN.
In addition to the highly anticipated ISKA World Title bout at -95 kg between Italy’s Mattia Faraoni and Japan’s Akira Jr., a match that will also determine a qualifying position in the 2026 K-1 World GP Heavyweight Tournament in Tokyo, the event will host the European revival of the historic K-1 WORLD MAX.

FOUR-MAN TOURNAMENT: K-1 WORLD MAX EUROPE
Four international fighters will compete in a one-night elimination tournament for a coveted place in the K-1 WORLD MAX 2026 Final in Tokyo:
- Taras Hnatchuck “Babayaga” (Ukraine) – Former ISKA Kickboxing World Champion
- Lorenzo Di Vara (Italy) – ISKA Muay Thai World Champion
- Tom Kirk (United Kingdom) – 15 wins (12 KOs), 2 losses
- Lissandre Mercier (France) – 20 fights: 17 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw (4 KOs)
This single-night tournament marks the return of the classic K-1 format that has defined some of the most memorable moments in combat sports history.
